PURCHASING INTERNSHIP

Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job: 
Support Purchasing department in activities related to project and contract management

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Support Vidas modular project:
    - Manage Request For Quotation for Vidas Modular project
    - Collect and Analyze data to control the manufacturing cost of the new instrument, help with the reporting related to the project
    - Manage procurement of prototype components of the new instrument according to defined timelines
  2. Participate to office activities for Quality, compliance commodity management
  3. Support the office in the contract management:
    - update related to GDPR regulation, drafting supplier quality agreements

Typical Studies-Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Studies-Experience:
    - Mechanical Engineer specialized ( or similar )
    - Preferred previous experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain
    - Able to follow negotiation or to work on small contracts.
  2. Skills and Qualifications:
    - Autonomous, curious, proactive, rigorous, team player
    - Knowledge in electronics would be a plus
    - Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of Power Point; knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
